We had the lunch offer of a tomato soup and the fish of the day which was cod tongue (soft and delicate) served on barley with a mango sauce. Also the NOVA two for one lunch offer on the fried haddock which came with a wonderful side salad of potatoes. The food was delicious. Will definitely visit again. Elegant interior design. The staff were very attentive as well. Definitely a hidden gem, and one to support given the relocation from Grindavík.

Great service and even better food! Aside from the delicious lobster soup and the char, I especially liked the bread the restaurant provided. The draft beer I had was also one of the best I have ever had in my life! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever in Reykjavik!

What a gem! It was the best meal that we had in Iceland by far, the service was friendly and attentive, I had a basil gimlet cocktail that was to die for, and everything was beautifully presented and delicious. We had the lobster soup, panfried arctic char and panfried cod, but I honestly don't think you could go wrong here.

Was looking for a “fancy” seafood place in town. We were pleased! The presentation is amazing and the taste was even better. Highly recommend the lobster soup!

The food was beautiful and extremely delicious. Four of us all had different drinks and meals. All were beautiful and everyone decided theirs was the most delicious. The drinks were delicious and beautiful as well. The chef stopped by so we exclaimed over our delights. Our server was lovely but had no clue how to serve. My meal mates and I believe she needed much training along side an experienced server but alas, that was not to be. The bar tender helped her some but the bar tender was busy too. So we overlooked her inabilities. I did not receive the drink I ordered but drank it anyway because it was delicious. No other major problems with service. I recommend everyone eat here. It is a gem.

This place is amazing. Best tomato soup ever! Best lobster soup ever! The cod roe was great and the pan seared cod was so tasty, I wanted to order it again! Get a reservation now!!

We had a great dinner here. My wife had the cod, which was cooked to perfection and served with a delicious variety of sweet and savory purees. My daughter had an arctic char with a very nice crust on it and a delicious dill cream. We all enjoyed the briny lobster bisque.

Medium size plates give the diner a chance to try different flavours. As recommended on the menu we had two plates each and the Lobster Soup and the Fish Roe (3 ways) were particularly good. Menu includes meat and veg options, but we stuck with the seafood. Easy to recommend. Particularly if you are staying at the next door Radisson Blu.
